At Vera's Posh Paws, your dog gets to play with friends all day in our indoor/outdoor play areas and have their own cozy room every night.
At Veraβs, your dog is always under the watchful eye of our trained staff β or βrefereesβ, if you like.
Dog Boarding Amenities
Days
Dog Daycare is included with boarding from the day you drop off until 11:00AM on pickup day.
Every dog is different. Our staff is trained to observe your dog and their unique needs. We manage the pack by sorting everybody into our five indoor/outdoor play spaces based on size, temperament and activity levels. This helps balance energy levels and ensures everyone has a great time!
Private or limited play is available for pups who havenβt been spayed or neutered β or who donβt get along well with others.
We canβt say that your pooch wonβt miss you while they are with us, but they might be too tired to think about it!
Nights
When your dog is ready to be tucked in for the night in their cozy room, they will sleep easy and comfortably on our orthopedic, elevated Kuranda cots. Veraβs also has 24-hour security monitoring with cameras and detectors to keep your pets safe overnight.
Meals & Meds
Diamond Naturals Kennel food is always free for boarders. If you prefer to provide food for your pup, no problem! We also administer medications if needed at no extra charge. Just be sure to bring the properly labeled container. Your dog will get a midday break for lunch and rest in their private room.

Dog Boarding FAQ
Can I bring items from home?
Of course, but please donβt bring any rawhide chews β these pose a choking risk. We want your furry friend to be as comfortable as possible. Dogs like having items with them that smell like home, so a blanket or bed is perfectly acceptable. Please ensure that all home items are clearly labeled with your petβs first and last name.
We serve quality Diamond Naturals brand dog food, but you are always welcome to bring your pup's favorite food or treats from home.
Each dog will be assigned a cubby (14inH x14inW x1ftD). Please make sure bags/food containers will fit in their cubby. Please do not bring food containers weighing more than 15 lbs unless your dog stays with us for more than 7 days. Prescription medications need to be in their original bottles with a proper label.
Whatβs included with overnight dog boarding?
We treat your pup like family! Our overnight dog boarding includes cozy sleeping areas, regular potty breaks, meals (yours or ours), and plenty of love from our staff. Dogs also enjoy supervised play during the day, so theyβre happy and relaxed by bedtime.
What if my dog has medication or special needs?
No problem at all. Our team is trained to give oral medications and follow special care instructions. Just bring clear directions, and weβll make sure your dog gets the attention they need during their stay.

How do I know my dog is safe and comfortable?
Our locations have 24/7 staff, secure facilities, and live webcams so you can check in any time. Your dog stays in a clean, climate-controlled environment, and we keep a close eye on their behavior and comfort.
Will my dog be able to have a bath or haircut during their stay?
Of course! Our resort offers full-service grooming for all breeds. You can request a grooming appointment for your pet online or just let us know at drop-off if you would like to add a grooming service to their stay.

We do! You can bring your pup in for full-service grooming or add it to their daycare or boarding stay. Learn more here.
I have more than one dog. Can they stay together in one room?
Absolutely! You can check our pricing list here if you are boarding multiple dogs together.
Does Dog Daycare come with Boarding?
Yes! Daycare play is included with your boarding price. Each day your pup will go out in the yard and play with his friends. They will go into their private rooms for meals and rest times.
You can drop off as early as 7AM on your first day and pick us as late as 11AM on the final day of boarding. There will be a late charge of $22 to cover the half day of daycare on the last day if you pick up after 11AM. However, this fee will be waived if you add a bath or groom to their final day!
What happens if thereβs an emergency while Iβm away?
If your pet needs medical attention, weβll contact you right away and take them to your preferred vetβor the nearest emergency clinic if needed. Your dogβs well-being always comes first.
How soon in advance should I book my pet's reservation?
We highly suggest booking your stay as soon as possible. Please remember that our busiest times are during Spring Break, over the summer and during the Holiday Season. Reservations can be adjusted if something changes later, so book early to secure your spot. We donβt want your pup to miss out β book their reservation today!

Our splash pad is the perfect outlet for high-energy pups and hot summer days. Dogs get to run through jets, chase water arcs, and cool off with friends in a safe and supervised space. It's a favorite add-on for daycare and boarding guests who love to play hard and stay cool.
Is Hair of the Dog a Problem?
If your dog is like most, theyβre going to live it up while theyβre here. So if you want them coming home fresh and clean β instead of smelling like all their new friends β add grooming to your last day of boarding! Let us know at drop-off if you want to add a mani-pedi, bath, or full grooming.

Very happy with the service. My pet had never stayed anywhere except with family. However, this time I decided to try Vera's and so glad I did. He stayed 9 nights and they said he did great. They shared pictures throughout his stay β¦ More and he seemed happy and well cared for when I picked him up. I had them give him a bath before pick up and he smells great.
